Good to hear
So many people hate the contract, but he was productive while playing through this, and playing with a thumb injury Kevin youkillis is the only other baseball player to have. in his words when yoshida told him about it said “oh noooo that’s no fun will you even be able to be back this year”.
He hits when healthy, but man is that when doing a lot of work already.
Even if he’s struggled to hit due to injuries, it’s still disappointing that he’s only walked 6% of the time. Getting on base was his calling card in Japan.
What’s the downtime on this again?
