Fuck that is really bad
the word fasciitis made me realize that double i’s exist in english beyond Hawaii and Pompeii
That is why I stay away from that wizard’s orb.
Take all the rest you need PF is no joke
Oof.
I have a running friend who had to deal with that. He had to stop and completely restructure his life for a few months. It was not good.
Hoping Nimmo heals quickly. No one wants to see injuries.
What is the normal treatment time (as in say the middle of the regular season). Can he reasonably play through it?

That is absolutely painful. I have it and it never goes away permanently. It just comes and goes based on my activity level and what shoes I wear. Can’t even imagine being a professional athlete and dealing with that.
Fuck Plantar Fasciitis. It’s so awful.
Fuck, such a weirdly painful injury.

Oof. I remember Voit with his foot stuff back in the day and was diagnosed with plantar fascitis. He missed a tons of games.
Been dealing with it for 20 years. Only time it went away completely was when I was on a strict plant base diet. I don’t have the discipline to stick to that diet. This is not good for the rest of his career most likely. Sucks too because he is my favorite Met. I’m sure he has already had a cortisone shot to try to get through the post season.
Uh oh, his elite speed might be a goner then.
Did Pujols struggle with PF a lot also? His decline in speed might have something to do with that
well that’s bad
Plantar Fasciitis causing shin splints is **fucking HELL**
Ask me how I know.
Damn, I had it this past August, it was terrible. I couldn’t walk for the entire month, barely left my room. Waking up in pain every morning.
Slightly off topic but if you’re dealing with PF, and if you haven’t already, do check out the stiffest insole insert you can find. Insoles were total game changers.
For those curious, this is what Pujols had. Brutal
Ugh plantar fasciitis is a bitch.
That is the worst. So painful and so hard to treat
I went to a foot doctor for planter fasciitis. I got cortisone shot and he recommended Hoka Bondi shoes. A week later I’m all healed. Physical therapy was also recommended, but I didn’t need it after all.
I saw him limping during game 4 of the NLDS. Finally makes sense
Probably will need to DH here and there if he insists on playing
