But countless redditors have told me that MLB doesn’t know what they’re doing and they’d get better ratings by having all games running in primetime against each other.

Machado is working for the MLB deep state.

  3. To me, this feels like the hottest, and most exciting MLB has been in a long time. For as much flack as they get for how they market players and things like that, they’ve definitely improved in that area big time.

  4. I would appreciate if they included each game’s viewer numbers. Crediting Ohtani being in the playoffs as the catalyst for the jump would be more believable if they showed that the LAD games were being watched by a significantly larger audience than the others or than usual. I’m not saying the claim is false, but they don’t support the claim at all here.

The Sinister Sling is about to double that viewership.

  6. As a baseball fan I always watch the playoffs regardless who is playing, but this year feels more special. There is good parity between the teams as displayed by each series being 1-1, there is drama, there is star power, and I am glad more people are tuning in to see it.

People are clearly tuning in to see Kyle Higashioka
