The playoffs started last Tuesday. Games have been blown by Devin Williams, Jeff Hoffman, Matt Strahm, Edwin Diaz, Josh Hader, and Emmanuel Clase
– Fantastic pitcher’s duel
– Insane web gems
– No runs until the 9th
– Dicks Sporting Goods part-timer broke Clase’s streak of 146 appearances without giving up a multi-run homer
– Game lasted under 3 hours
This game was legendary, idc who wants to disagree.
Hilarious final strike call
LETS GO BACK HOME BABY
Think Tigers win anyway, but that was far from a strike
>LP: Clase
I cant stop looking at it
Its so beautiful
That last strike call 😂
#2024 PLAYOFFS ARE GOD TIER
Ump must’ve had a dinner date to get to on that last pitch
SOMEONE LET THE TIGERS GET HOT
Best playoffs in YEARS
what a horrible last pitch lmao

Lol
Tigers have team of destiny feel
We lost fair and square but wow that ump had a generous strike zone.
I don’t normally complain about bad strike calls but those two called strikes against Fry in the last AB were bad.
We were already cooked but come on.
That final strike. Oh boy.
I love baseball
Ump was running late for something apparently.
The ump at the last AB was like “I just wanna go home”
Skubal lived up to the hype – he is unbelievable
This postseason is so damn good already and we’re not even at the Championship Series
Ump has 7:30pm dinner reservations.
I don’t know how the CS and WS are going to match the energy in the all the DSs.
WHAT THE FUCK IS AN OFFENSE !!
You all didn’t really think you could count out the Gritty Tigs after one bad game, did you?
Only watched the last two innings
lol at the last strike call – how was the ump the rest of the game ?
First Hader, now Clase, now who is the next elite closer the Tigers are gonna get big hits off of to win a game in the biggest moment of the game after doing nothing the first 8 innings?
At least give them a chance, Blue… damn.
Clasé let the Gritty Tigs stay hot!
My throat hurts so much from the yelling I did during the homer. Ump was awful all game for both sides.
Skubal is built for the postseason!
I honestly thought we were royally fucked. Thank God for Skubal, Meadows, and Carpenter. Can’t wait to see how raucous Comerica is.
Also for those of you unaware of Kerry, imagine if Barry Bonds was a church kid who could only mash righties. That’s Kerry.
I’ve heard of pitchers who can’t hit the broad side of a barn, just never seen a strike zone reflect that
I only got to watch the 8th and 9th inning cause of work but it looks like that’s all I needed. What a shot to win it!
Atrocious final strike call but LFG!!
“I blacked out after I hit it, so I felt great!”
Been there Kerry
Postseason absolutely bonkers so far
I’m honestly so much less mad about a postseason loss than I thought I’d be. Skubal is incredible and if you hit a tank off Clase you deserve to win man. Great game, basically have to get both in Detroit to avoid seeing Skub
The series doesn’t start until you win a road game!
Let’s win both home games have Skubal for G1 of the ALCS. Been 10 years since we’ve had playoff baseball, the atmosphere is going to be wild.
I forgot I love postseason baseball
I love skubal so much
Cleveland using Clase in the game 1 blowout looking even worse in hindsight. Didn’t make sense at the time and Tigers got a chance to get some looks, then they come through when it matters
