Anyone who says/thinks this was intentional has never pitched at a competitive level let alone probably played baseball at a competitive level.

I always enjoy seeing the back and forth with players since both sides were fired up and just adds intensity to the game. I don’t think he was trying to hit Tatis, but if you are the Padres you want to believe it so you can keep that intensity going.
