See, I never just did things just to do them. Come on, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on somebody’s couch like it’s something to do? Come on. I got a little more sense then that.

…Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie’s couch.

Jack seems to be the only Dodger actually saying anything.

I didn’t try to hit him! I just threw it right at him! How was I supposed to know he wouldn’t move!

Anyone who says/thinks this was intentional has never pitched at a competitive level let alone probably played baseball at a competitive level.

  5. Tatis said he didn’t think it was intentional either. I don’t think anyone thinks it was.

  6. I don’t think Flaherty hit Tatis, but “he didn’t get out of the way” just screams “I’m a whiny pitcher” to me

  7. I always enjoy seeing the back and forth with players since both sides were fired up and just adds intensity to the game. I don’t think he was trying to hit Tatis, but if you are the Padres you want to believe it so you can keep that intensity going.

Best time to hit someone when everyone thinks why would you
