Cleveland might win the World Series if they don’t give up any runs!
Can’t think of a better way for the series to start for Cleveland
Cleveland had as many hits in the first inning as Detroit had all game. Absolute pitching masterclass on the Guardians’ end.
Absolute clapping by the Guardians here.
Skubal may need to pitch every game to have a chance.
Well that wasn’t fun
World… Meet the best bullpen in the game
This is really too bad for America.
I don’t know of anyone that is rooting for Cleveland. Let’s extend that WS drought.
1948.
Let’s go tomorrow, Tigers! Eat em up!
The Guardians having a bye clearly seems to have hurt the Tigers offense.
It’s hot in here
Where do the Tigers bats hit well enough to not get swept ? Clevelands pitching just embarrassed them today.
And it’s not like they don’t know Clevelands arms, they’ve played 13 times this year. And still can’t hit them.
I think it’s over.
Happy for Cleveland.
BOOK IT

Great game. Filthy pitching. A little small ball, a little big ball, some solid defense.
Let’s do it again Monday
Grand opener grand closer
rough day for « long layoffs hurt performances » fans
Nice win by Guardians! I am surprised that they used Clase in a non-save situation.
Was looking forward to seeing them in the ALDS but damn we would’ve been cooked
Help me Tarik Skubal you’re my only hope
I want to see the reasoning behind a fielder’s choice on Ramirez’s hit.
Lol I don’t think the result would’ve been much different had we made it. Guardians pitching is also ridiculous.
This was the best case scenario for the Guards. I do believe we have a chance against Skubal. The tigers are gonna change their approach at the plate, so we’ll see how it goes. Same formula though: score early and ride the pitching to the win. Easier said than done, and I don’t think this is gonna deflate the tigers team as much as the tigers fans.
God I love baseball
