First time in a long time
You could feel the pure joy and emotions of Mets fans the moment the ball left the bat. It even sent some into tears as the Mets came from behind to beat the Brewers in the Wildcard and now will face their division rival Phillies.
Pete Alonso literally just secured a lucrative Mets contract with one swing. No way you let this man go now. Biggest hero in New York.
