Huh. I get that Zaidi was on the wobbly chair, but has Posey done anything in a management capacity? Isn’t he a partial owner, and that’s WHY he was able to speak with Chapman directly to get the extension done? GMs can’t do that, owners can.

I know some Giants fans have been calling for Posey to manage since retirement, but also thought he wouldn’t/shouldn’t do it because the fans would inevitably and unfairly sour on the legend if the team didn’t do well.
Maybe as PONI the slightly lower visibility/separation from in-game moments will help.
