Marcell Ozuna may factor in as well with his current .308 average.
Shoutout to all my red-green colorblind homies
How many green boxes are there out of the 4096 squares (64 x 64)?
If this chart is correct, Ohtani has a 16.2% chance (313/1936) to win the batting title this season. Pretty crazy when you go back and look at the difference even two weeks ago.
I was told there would be no graph
So you’re telling me there’s a chance
How tf did we go from
« triple crown is impossible, but is 50/50 possible? »
to
« Is 55/55 possible with a triple crown? »
in the span of 2 weeks?
High chance that Arraez will be given rest days as the two final games against Dbacks will most likely feature B-team (Vasquez and Perez will be starting instead of King). So if Arraez didn’t get any ABs, his avg shouldn’t drop, making it harder for Ohtani to catch him.
This is a really cool way to visualize it. Would be interesting to go back and see what it looked like 8 games ago before Ohtani went insane and Arraez slumped.
