Both guys having 4 CS is probably my favorite part lol

People won’t like this but it’s true Ohtani is a DH and 50/50 doesn’t count more for WAR than Soto playing RF and hitting better than Ohtani.

Soto is having the great season a lot of people expected him to have in New York. Probably the toughest out in baseball… now imagine the Yankees were considering pitching him in the playoffs and he had a career 3.01 ERA

That Max Muncy pasta about him sneering about pitches being 1 millimeter off the plate is Soto in a nutshell.

So Shohei has been intentionally walked 10 times and Soto only once?

What a year for baseball that Juan Soto is doing this and he’s not even in the MVP conversation. Dude is having a monster year, but he’s doing it while standing next to Aaron Judge. If he was still in San Diego the Pads might well be in first, and the Shohei/Soto MVP race probably comes down to which team won the division
fyo_karamo
So Soto is the best ever?
Omar_Town
Soto’s walk numbers for past 4 seasons: 145, 135, 132, 124+. That’s 536 walks. Next best is 399, Judge.

Soto will look good in Dodgers blue next year 😁

The fact that this is captured exactly by WAR (7.8 and 7.7) is so nice to see for a stat guy like me
