I respect the hell out of this. Marlins season ticket holders have had to sit through a terrible year, a rare chance to see history is what gives them reason to keep going back to the park even during bad seasons. Plus you give your pitcher a chance to compete with the best and test themselves, I bet if you asked Baumann if he’d do it all over again he would despite the result. There’s just no shame in giving up a HR to Ohtani.

Man just wanted to witness history lmao

Miami is a good place for Ohtani to achieve some of his greatest moments
He win the WBC and make the 50/50 club in Miami

Clearly just wanted front row tickets for history, can’t blame him.

Would’ve been pretty shitty being down 12-3. Also, he probably wanted front-row seats to history.

Skippy remembers what it meant to be a Dodger.

Baumann struck out Shohei in three pitches yesterday and was ahead of the count, it’s just Shohei was just batting like a god today.

Wow, respect. The Dodgers radio announcers were really expecting the intentional walk.

I respect it
What a Chad
Can’t wait to see this for the next 50 years -__-
I have full respect for Skip; losing by a lot, if 50/50 happens, it happens; if not, Baumann gets a huge out and a good morale boost.
full quote is something along the lines of: “Fuck that. I’ve got too much respect for this guy for that shit to happen.”
