His last few starts have been rough. I just assume he’s gonna give up a bunch of runs and pray that the offense can bail him out.
He went from future ace to a Manoah-esque falloff.
THAT BEING SAID, according to the same website, the third most comparable pitcher to him is… 2023 Gerrit Cole? I guess velocity and movement aren’t everything.
Pitch shapes are still crazy. Lot of guys just optimize their stuff in the minors but don’t actually learn how to pitch. He’ll be good at some point
