Phillies looking good. A little curious how our only negative is right field at -1.9 and while Castellanos has been up & down but still very productive this year, he’s been extremely reliable and off the top of my head maybe not played 6 total games there all year.

Casty may be -1.9 but he’s had a ton of walk off hits for us and been pretty great since June. His may/April was just that bad.

Is it strange that the color brightness is determined by positional ranking and not by pure WAA?
Yes, this is just a way to complain that Lindor is underrated.

Detroit Tigers in the playoff hunt using smoke, mirrors, and some really underrated pitching.

Interesting for how much AJ Hinch loves pinch hitting and manipulating the lineup that Det is below average. Biased eye test I would have thought he did fairly well even though I don’t always like his strategy.

White Sox pitchers just being, « It ain’t our fault. »

A bit surprised the Mariners starting pitching isn’t rated better. Always thought that was one of the best rotations in baseball

Brewers just need to figure out how to combine Bauers’ defense with Hoskins’ bat

The Royals’ SP clearing any other team by 1.5+ WAR is pretty crazy. Lugo/Ragans/Wacha have been killing it all year. Picollo deserves a ton of credit for bringing them all in at the trade deadline last year or in the off season this past year. And Singer/Marsh/Lorenzen have been excellent 4th/5th starters. The odds of all those guys being both effective and relatively healthy had to be pretty long.

Third highest at 3B in the league. Ernie fuckin Clement baby. (And some IKF)

Definitely didn’t see the Mets being top 5 at 3B this season. Well done, Vientos!
