Looks great until someone fouls a ball up and hits a scoreboard that was probably not designed to be hit with baseballs lol

Will it be sponsored by speedway or racetrac?

Scale is messing with me

Some of those seats are *real* far…

Should take place during a race.

I mean those grandstands have to be so far away, right? They’re across the race track and the bowl shape is contouring a race track not a baseball field.

This is really, really dumb. I get the games in Mexico, the UK, South Korea, and the Field of Dreams games. Tennessee has 3 teams in driving distance to see an MLB game. What is the point of this? Must be some gambling thing behind it.

They need to set up the field like a bigger polo grounds. Not sure what the dimensions of the track infield are but I think that would make the game worth watching.

Just play in the Coliseum and we’ll have a sideshow after the game

I think MLB should have more games at neutral site stadiums with interesting dimensions — how about a replica Polo Grounds or Ebbets Field game? Or more ballparks with historical significance — like Rickwood Field from earlier this year. Or just wacky — how about a field with uniform 380 ft fences that are 100ft tall? Or one of the [weird highschool fields.](https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/1d4zjc4/oc_i_measured_the_specs_of_every_colorado_high/#lightbox)

It’s probably just me, but the behind plate view kinda reminds me of Atlanta Fulton-County Stadium.

Moments before giant scoreboard falls crushing hundreds.

Everyone complaining about the seats so far away. I will agree with that. However, is it that much different than the NHL and the Stadium Series?

Hopefully those outfield seats are max like $5 right? Who would pay for them?
