If he plays a couple of healthy seasons in a row, I can’t even imagine the stats he will put up. In 2019 I really thought he had maxed out as a consistent 150 wRC+ hitter, but he’s had an impressive middle aged renaissance.

I’m a Yankees fan, so obviously I’m a bit of a homer, but I don’t understand how anyone thinks Judge isn’t the best player in the AL right now. I mean, every time stats get posted it’s something about being in the same company as Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds or one of the other all time greats. I love Witt Jr and Gunnar, and they are both going to battle each other for AL MVP’s for the next decade or more, but right now it’s Aaron Judge. You can tell me their defense is what makes them better, but I don’t really buy that. Judge has been a fairly league average center fielder which is not his natural position, while Gunnar and Witt Jr both play probably the most premier defensive position on the diamond besides catcher, where you can basically have +1 defensive WAR just for standing there.

Best all-time wRC+ from age 30-32:
Aaron Judge 201
Babe Ruth 191
Mickey Mantle 185
This is for all players, not just Yankees.
Aaron Judge is a top 10 hitter all time at worst
