   Assistant GM Carlos Correa forced the FO to keep Jose Miranda so they shipped off Spencer Steer and CES in the Mahle trade instead.

   Seeing Cowser being the 2nd most valuable fielder in all of MLB is one of those things where the eye test and underlining metrics just don’t seem to add up lol. According to statcast he’s fast and gets a decent jump with decent coverage, but to be in the 99th percentile in OAA while only playing 77 games in the outfield and not having that many opportunities is really strange and i dont really know where that value comes from, especially with pretty wild arm accuracy https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/leaderboard/outfield_jump?year=2024&min=q&sort=5&sortDir=desc

    Not surprised no Dodgers in the fielding. Our defense has been trash at times and one of the people working at improving it is currently sidelined with an oblique injury (Muncy).
