If I was facing Mets pitching I just wouldn’t lift the bat, eventually they’ll walk you
these guys are pathetic
Fortunately this is reviewable but yet another way for umps to ump up
This happened in Astros/Orioles game I was at last Saturday.
Makes me wonder how often Umps forget the count, lol
Say what you will about Angel Hernandez, he might not have been able to see more than 3 inches in front of his face and been a smug, insufferable dickhead, but at the very least he knew how to count to four.
I still don’t miss him though lol.
Umpires can’t count to four but they know how sticky is too sticky, apparently.
Is this what people mean when they say opening up reviews on balls and strikes will cause unnecessary delays?
Math is hard

I am in the process of submitting resumes/advertising my services.
This has been an immense ego boost. Imposter syndrome begone!
The brief look on Porter’s face when he announced the decision was great. « Oh, shit. I fucked up. »
Completely unrelated, but that father and son bumping into each other while waiting for the call is so cute
