he’s saying he doesn’t want to have surgery and then hang them up?
I guess this is confirmation he’s coming back next season?
I mean his pitching looked fine, his problem was the toe this year.

Great news for baseball. I still think he looked pretty good this year considering the circumstances of coming back mid-season without a lengthy rehab stint. If he can get past the toe issue that made those last couple of starts look rough, there’s no reason he can’t be very effective still and grab that 3000th K.
I have more of my emotional well being tied to this man getting to 3000 Ks than I care to admit
