(Lowlight) Winker se retrouve d’une manière ou d’une autre coincé dans le no mans land, ce qui aurait dû être une avance facile du premier au troisième sur un single d’Iglesias.

Why’d he stop running once he decided to go to third.

More like Jesse Stinker on that one

  3. PatientIndividual651

Would’ve been safe if he fully committed to 3rd there

You know what they say, never make the first or third out at third, unless you’re down by 6 runs in the 5th

This is the inverse of that Javier Baez vs. Pirates play. Winker had every opportunity to not get tagged out, and he still got tagged out.

Winker’s had a back issue. I wonder if he tweaked something there.

Otherwise, doesn’t make any sense not to run hard into 3rd.

He deserves it for how cocky he was with Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Philly.

This game is a disaster for the Mets, my god

When they threw to third I thought Winker would be in there easily. Boy was I wrong. Costed them a huge run to cut the lead to 5.

I…still don’t understand what the fuck just happened.

I get initially holding up…shifting directions…but unless you are trying to force a pickle (which was not the case here), why the fuck does your brain say “shh, just stop on the basepath, is okay”.
