If I were Arraez I would try to get a long term deal ASAP. Maybe I’m overthinking it but he’s a little bit of a concerning investment in my opinion.
He only has 1 tool, and while he’s the best in the business at it, if it ever drops off he’s an awful defender, has no speed, and no power.
Just seems like he’s going to get paid well to be amazing at 1 thing and there’s really only one way to go from there.

Arraez contributes but I would much rather find a first baseman that can field and hit for power since Kim is likely not coming back which means Croney staying at 2b.

I mean the padres biggest priorities are in bullpen and Starting pitching…..
Arraez is cool but idk how much money will be left
