During the first game they brought in Weaver and when they came back from break Costas said « Okay, Weaver » in a way that made me think he might be referencing UHF. If so, the respect I would have for such a deep cut would be immeasurable.
A few minutes later he was talking about an interview with some player who was asked if he was superstitious, and the player said « no I’m only *kind of* stitious » and Costas made it sound like it should win the Grammy for best comedy album, not realizing the player lifted it from The Office. These two things canceled each other out.
I still like him but he might want to stick to the analysts’ desk and documentary interviews.

He did this shit 2 years ago when he did the Yanks/Guardians series. It’s insane that they let him keep doing this shit and just sucking the Yankee’s dicks for the whole series.
