Is the Grimace power an area-of-effect boost that the Yankees are taking advantage of by being based in NY?
That was a stressful game
[This postgame thread has been walked by the Royals pitching staff]
The sound mixing is fucking terrible holy hell
Shout out to that kid behind home plate that thought every taken pitch was a strike
I still can’t fucking believe Stanton stole a base.
The Yankees have an MVP that can’t hit.
The Royals have an MVP who finally gets a hit and they refuse to utilize his speed and lose the game.
Top showing from the top players from each side thus far.
It is Stanton’s fault that KC lost
Don’t let the Yankees winning distract you from the fact that George Brett, Patrick Mahomes and Bobby Witt Jr’s dad were at the stadium tonight.
Pathetic game all around, this is an all time bad postseason offensive team save for a couple guys, and I wanted to rip my hair out with each walk.
Series over ✌️
Here I would’ve liked only giving up four hits before the game.
LET’S GO!
Stanton. Stole. A. Base.
Can’t figure out who was worse: Bob Costas or the umpire
Where were you when Giancarlo Stanton stole a bag
Mike turned the years back with a SB and a homer.
The umps were freaking awful once again, especially the home plate ump. No one had any clue what a ball or strike was.
Thank you, G, thank you, Luke. Ahem, Aaron, you okay, bro? Alright, just checking.
Our Lord and Savior Stanton
GERRIT COLE DO YOUR DUTY
Great game. Maybe Judge wakes up tomorrow night. Hopefully Cole shows up. See ya tomorrow.
Announcer was so sad when the go ahead homer was hit
Wonder why they aren’t showing Mahomes or Brett anymore.
Yanks are blessed to have such a speedster in Giancarlo Stanton
Well that was deflating for the royals lol
Particularly because I just remembered they have to face Cole in game 4.
Don’t think the Royals are going to get out of this if they can’t hit the ball hard. Thought Schmidt was awesome and Lugo was lucky to get out with only 2.
Mike Stanton legacy game
Clay Holmes, Luke Weaver, Anthony Volpe and Giancarlo Stanton were magnificent tonight.
Need our $300 million dollar men to both show up in game 4
LETS GO YANKEES!
Bob Costas referred to a TV show (have gun will travel) that hasn’t been on the air in over 60 years. Please put me out of my misery.
If the Royals are going to lose that’s fine, but please make the announcing stop.
Giancarlo Stanton is the aaron judge of the yankees
If Taylor Swift was at the game, would we ever actually see any baseball?
anthony volpe saved the series for the yankees
I am so glad that the Yankees won that game so I can complain about the umpiring without it being sour grapes. That game is definitive proof that the MLB isn’t fixed. The Royals beating the Yankees is Manfred and the MLBs worst nightmare. They got almost every 50/50 call. The umpires aren’t biased, just completely incompetent.
