As an aside his cleats are cute as hell

  2. smallskeletal

What a gift of a call bc everyone with eyes saw that he was out lol

  3. CowboyCanuck24

The announcers butchered that call. He looks like he caught the side of the bag.

  4. properfocus_

Unbelievable. Yankee bias by the MLB is absurd.

  5. OverusedRedditJoke

What’s the point in having the system if you can’t even get the call right

  6. redshift3

I assume they’re saying the side of his foot may have touched the bag but I don’t see that at all. Bizarre call.

  7. Way closer than people are acting like it is. Still think he was out but I don’t think it’s the most egregious call ever.

  8. FutureCreeps

When even the opppsing team disagrees you know it’s bullshit

  9. helioptil3

whats the point of having a review system if we’re just not gonna use it

  10. EarthWarping

It’s the dumb not enough to overturn threshold when it’s against what’s called on the field.

That’s the kinda shit that’ll get the league in trouble with betting being so prevalent. Ron had it right on the call, there’s literally daylight in between his foot and the bag.

Call overturn in less than 30 seconds. And yet..?

AND THE RUN SCORES! Game changing, season changing. Ump also had a bad call that knocked out the Royals starter.

As someone who wants to see Judge in a WS, this game would have me boiling as a royals fan

  12. You can’t see shit in this clip. I get you are trying to be first but there’s nothing added here without a slowmo view.

I’m gonna be honest, I understand why it stands. I don’t think Masseys glove actually touched the cleat quiet as early as it looked on the main replay. It might have still beaten him, but not enough to over turn.

  14. philphan25

I guess you don’t have to touch the base to be safe.

  15. retrohan7

The side of his foot clearly clips the bag before the tag

  16. Slowswimmer50

Replay showed an angle where the heel of his foot was on the bag first

  17. CenterOfEverything

There was not a speck of light peaking through between his cleat and the base. It was close, but there was definitely not enough evidence to overturn.

  18. East_Cream859

He was unironically safe. Side of the foot was on the bag.

Manfred has Ordered This. Only Yankers vs Doyers

  20. Rigged crap. Tired of it. I love sports but there’s always crap like this in all sports.

  21. Alectheawesome23

Happened to us too. Turner very clearly got thrown out on a pickoff (well it was clear on replay anyway) and call wasn’t overturned.

  22. RetroGaming4

Wow MLB playing favorites once more. They will shove the Yankees/Dodgers WS down our throat.

  23. PostNutRagrets

Certain KC fans deserve it if they follow the red team.

  24. G0DatWork

This is the best clip you could get showing he’s out … Looks damn close here lol

  25. Key_Amazed

I like how the refs are obviously corrupt and are all in on illegal gambling. Has nothing to do with them just being bad. Occam’s Razor is a lie.

  26. bushwickhero

Terrible slide but I still think he was safe. The corner of his shoe was touching the bag.

  27. PostPostMinimalist

I think he was probably out but….. is it definitive? Ehhh

  28. CincySprtsFan

The review center needs to be located in Nebraska or either Dakota states. NJ is too close to NY and that review call seemed suspicious. Even Darling called them out.

  29. Freddie4Fingers42

Do you not show us the replay after the initial play, c mon man.
