It’d be very weird to use him as an opener against the lefties at the top of the Phillies lineup. I guess maybe he goes once through the order and we go to Peterson?
I know the Phillies like to platoon at a couple positions so that would force them to empty their bench a little early in the game (or the Mets would get matchup advantages with Stott/Marsh if they decided to keep them in).
