   Never surprised when Rizzo is HBP. He nearly stands in the strikezone.

    Sucks to get hit there. He’s had a bad run of luck the last two years.

    This was #222 for his career, 8th all time, 5th in the modern era. With a healthy season next year, he could hop up to 6th, 4th in the modern era by jumping Dan McGann and Ron Hunt.

    He was on a fairly good trajectory to beat Biggio for the modern record and take a run at Hughie Jennings for the all time number, but he’s missed a lot of time the past two years, and now I’m not sure he’ll get there.
