   genuinely an honor to have the worst pitcher in baseball at the peak (trough?) of his powers for 4 years

   (and, of course, being a WS game 7 winning pitcher of record doesn’t hurt!)

   Also a prime example of one of my favorite things about our fanbase, if you put your time in here, you’re loved here forever, no exceptions, and you’ll probably get a standing ovation at least the first time you come back (if you don’t go to the Phillies)

   Awesome by the Nats fanbase to, despite how bad he has been since 2020, acknowledge him positively for what he did in 2019 alone. Really cool.

   Corbin deserves a ton of respect. Obviously he has been pretty awful and overpaid since the World Series season, but he’s still taken the ball every five days during some rough seasons for the Nats and hasn’t tried to hide behind any phantom IL stints like I would suspect many other highly paid veterans would. Really speaks to his professionalism and passion for the game.
