If the game is postponed and the double header decides playoff position one team would have to fly to the west coast right after a double header and play the next day

I have no love lost for either team, but if the facts in the article as presented as true and the Mets put out multiple ways of avoiding this issue and the Braves rejected them all, then forfeit one of the games to the Mets so there is only one makeup on Monday if needed.

  3. So it’s 4 hours from “first pitch” and not a peep from MLB or the Braves?

I mean, this article isn’t wrong. Sports teams always cause natural phenomena for their own benefits.

For example, did you know the Dodgers failed to contain the coronavirus in Wuhan and allowed it to spread worldwide…just so they can get a shorter season and ‘win’ one World Series under Roberts/Kershaw?

Could have played a DH today

Both teams are gonna be fucked altho if Arizona keeps choking, it will be moot

Fuck the Braves! Fuck the MLB! Fuck the Umps! Fuck the Dodgers! Fuck Chase Utley!

It’s the Mets and Yankees vs the world rn, two small market teams just trying to make a name for themselves on the big stage.

Have one player from each team play MLB The Show to decide the series.

In truth, MLB dropped the ball here. The hurricane was in the forecast way before the series started. They could have moved game one to Monday, game two yesterday or, played a DH today or yesterday to ensure these games got in.

If we have to play a doubleheader Monday, would the MLB consider just pushing the NLWC and NLDS back a day? Looking at the postseason schedule and it seems doable with only two days without any games (10/8 and 10/11, and the 11th is originally scheduled NLDS Game 5 so there might not be games that day anyway)

Move the games to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, you cowards.

Sale would pitch today and can pitch Monday for tomorrow’s rain out. Didn’t Braves adjust rotation for sale to pitch today.

Maybe Braves are praying rain somehow moves so their master plan works. (Smart plan by the way) But if today and tomorrow gets rained out then sale has to pitch against Kansas and may not be able to pitch either game Monday against Mets.

This photo of Manfred makes me want to cast Walton Goggins in a biopic about how he’s ruined baseballl.
