    The only player in recent memory I can quite compare to Profar is Alex Gordon, in terms of their route to being… relevant, on the MLB level. Former top, and I mean TOP (Profar was #1, ahead of Mike Trout, *13 years* ago) prospects. But the shear amount of time its been, and the fact the #2 prospect behind him became the undisputed best player of his generation… and if you put a gun to your head, who would you want on your team next year: Jurickson Profar, or Mike Trout? It’s Profar. Absolutely wild career arc, good for him
