That Jays number can’t possibly be right.

It feels way worse than that.

The Rockies improvement over the past month or so has to be impressive.

After watching our bullpen for the last two months, I can only assume that we had ~20 bullpen WAR in mid-July.

Astros bullpen had a shaky start but right now there aren’t many other pens I would take over ours. It’s deep and it’s nasty.

It’s kinda wild we’re #3 when we’ve thrown the 3rd least BP innings in the league.

But yeah, having our top 4 guys all with a 2.03 ERA or less, then a 2.87, 3.52, and 4.17… that’s some riches

Gives you some perspective on how depleted our SP has been all year

    >Pirates: 2.7

And this is why I don’t believe in fWAR as a stat.

There has been a lot of talk about the Mariners’ offense. But I genuinely think the bullpen being so shitty (and missing Brash/Santos all year) is the biggest reason we’re not in a playoff spot. We have been entirely unable to win close games for the last 2+ months

    Wow.

Believe it or not, I thought the bullpen was pretty strong going into the year. Everything just went to shit.

    Romano

    Swanson

    Green

    Mayza

    Garcia

    Richards

    Pearson

    Cabrera

    Francis

I had no complaints going in with that given thier track records.
