JV earns spot on playoff rotation purely for this expression.
I hate being angry after a win, haha. That was some of the worst, inept umpiring I’ve ever seen. The whole game.
Seriously when the guy who was « hit » says he wasn’t hit, you have to realize as an ump, that you’re useless.

Sorry for the multiple reuploads. Profar was PISSED a call went in his favor. Never seen something like this before.
amazing JV gif potential here
Only other time I can think of, when a hitter didn’t want the base, was Albert Belle
Took the bat out of probably the most clutch player in baseball, who was red hot with 5 hits in 8 at bats in the series already.
This call absolutely screws over the Padres more than the Astros.
Honestly have never seen a call that put both teams at a disadvantage, let alone one that is so obviously incorrect.
Felt like the umps were going further and further into the rings of officiating hell with each inning
New York did not ‘confirm’ the call. The call stood, which means they just didn’t overturn it.
Should have showed the ump his foot to prove he wasn’t hit.
I feel as if no one feels sympathy towards the team that got victimized by the egregiously-bad call.
Because of what they represent to the sport of baseball.
Coincidentally, CB Bucknor didn’t umpire a game tonight. What are the chances he was in New York doing replay? 🤔 🤔 Interesting
Fair enough the home plate umpire might have thought this hit Profar.
There’s zero excuse why the replay guy in New York let this stand
