  1. I plan to cut the amount of time I spend dating models and actresses in 2025

“And at $50 an hour! When I started out, I had to pay Mr. Reinsdorf $100 an hour!”

  3. TrapperJean

I cant imagine how awful being a Chicago sports fan would have been the last 50 years if the Bulls didn’t luck into Jordan falling to them

  4. Fools_Requiem

didn’t they already fucking do that?!

  5. Bluehale

That Andrew Benintendi contract was really a backbreaker for the White Sox?

  6. BabaBrody

2025: The White Sox start each game day by driving around to Home Depots across the country asking day laborers if they can do anything with a curveball.

Jerry Reinsdorf could be the owner that makes a salary floor an actual thing with how he’s treating and will continue to treat this club

  8. Due_Connection179

I’m sorry White Sox fans. You have easily have the 2nd worst owner in the MLB.

  9. Foofieboo

Oh good, I hate those teams that try to buy championships.

  10. MightyActionGaim

they can just promote their entire farm and save money

  11. PhilosopherMoney9921

On the bright side, I’m watching The Bears right now and they seem fun!

  12. Educational-Chef-595

This seems like a solid plan to get back to respectability.

  13. FinnaWinnn

I agree. Why should they get a raise? They kinda sucked this year.

  14. LocalHero_P1

Is this not including declining Yoan’s option because if it is then fucking how, almost the entire roster is pre arb

  15. farmingbeast

What is the worst record in B2B seasons

  16. FloralAlyssa

If the White Sox got to start 2025 carrying over all their 2024 wins, do we think they’d still be in playoff contention in September?

  17. When Beni and Mookie come to Fenway next year in blue it’s going to be quite surreal.

Reinsdorf saw his team is the worst in the league and, credit to him, has been putting the work into trying to be the worst owner in the league as well.

Gotta admire the dedication despite the massive undertaking it will be.

Cut payroll and [put the games over the air.](https://chsn.com/info)

The Sox were naturally losing big contracts from trades and buyouts. If they trade Robert and Crochet, they’ll just have Andrew Benintendi getting significant pay.

Now they won’t be getting a big local media payday without Comcast as a sugar daddy. Maybe the new channel will get big ratings over the air and they’ll sell lots of commercials. Yeah, no…

  21. MagicalBread1

Completely unsustainable and the reason why the MLB needs a cap floor.

  22. 122_Hours_Of_Fear

He has his eye on a 140 loss season

  23. feeling_blue_42

At the end of 2025: we cut payroll and improved by 10 wins! Obviously cutting payroll equals more wins!

  24. FuriousJorge67

Apparently, in other moves, they are gonna have a drive thru at first base and their new team motto will be « You want fries with that? »

  25. BeerNerdActual

The wildest thing about the White Sox is that their payroll is middle of the road. They aren’t even trying to be bad, they really thought they were competitive.

  26. Is there a way to check headline to make sure its not the onion

  27. lanfordr

Another way of saying they are going to promote all of their prospects next year.
