Fred and Jeff Wilpon aren’t running the show anymore, baseball gods.

You can stop punishing the Mets now.

Shit, man 🙁 hopefully it’s just soreness and he doesn’t miss time

Lower back soreness from carrying the team for 5 months

Back is a tough one especially with 2 weeks left. Sitting and treating it is about all that’s possible.

Fuck man. He’s had an MVP-level season, and I hope it doesn’t end like that.

Lindor broke his finger and missed one game. I’d bet he plays tomorrow

  9. Let’s hope it’s just precautionary because they’re destroying the Phillies today

I was afraid it was after fouling the ball off his foot the inning before.
He played another inning after he overran second base so I’m hoping it’s just giving him a break, put him in a sauna and he’ll be back tomorrow. He never rests.

Hoping it’s out of an abundance of caution as it was a decision made in late innings of a 7-0 ballgame.

Hopefully some ice and rest can have him back in tomorrow’s line up in this massive series. If anything, having him DH tomorrow if he’s capable of playing.

    For card collectors –

RIP to those who bought tons of Lindor Chrome

If he’s hurt for any length, this is THE Mets moment of the year
