Owners can enable change but chose not to. Stop running things cheaply and the same team out there with dumpster acquisitions. We have so many assistant GMs in Boston that have been here for 20 years. There are plenty of baseball operations talent in this league and a few teams prefer not.
They started the season with a manager who shouldn’t have been a manager in the first place. A manager is only part of it but Pedro managed his way out of 5-10 wins. They’re not making the history book with a competent manager.
It’s just more bullshit as always.

Whenever people tell me that billionaires deserve their wealth because they work hard and are innovative, I just gesture broadly to Reinsdorf and Fisher.
I wonder what a league looks like where owners are compelled to compete and actually want to because they’re fans. Give me an overly enthused Ballmer who builds a stadium on his own dime and sits courtside every game over these clowns any day.
