Everyone is going to clown on this statement but it isn’t in any way all that notable.
The White Sox obviously weren’t going to be a ‘good team’ by any means but the extent of how bad they’ve been has been well beyond what anyone could or should have expected going into this season.

What’s funny is that if you look at 2021, you see a 93 win team that has a ton of young talent that should be expected to get better, including outstanding pitchers in their young-mid 20s, Robert Jr at 23, Vaughn and Jimenez in their early 20s as well.
Like the roster on paper was extremely well built and it just imploded from there

They were 29th or 30th in a lot of offensive categories last season. Did he not watch the team at all last year? Paul DeJong, Maldonado, and Nicky Lopez are not offensive acquisitions. He subtracted from a 101 loss team. Tim Anderson to Paul DeJong is an upgrade but it’s not leaps and bounds.
