I will never come around to the Manfred runner. I agree that games were getting too long and I like the pitch clock for that reason, but that only mattered for 9 inning games. Extra inning games just aren’t part of that equation, and we have lost something truly special.

Funnily enough, I think this might only be the second craziest A’s game of the year. And this game was bat shit crazy, matched each other from 2-2 to 6-6 in extras.
The craziest is still the A’s Rockies game on 5/23. Also extras, A’s were down 4-0 in the 7th and brought it back to 4-4 by the 9th. Each team scored 1 top 10. Rockies score 4 top 11, A’s put up 5 bottom 11 to walk it off

Doesn’t matter how well the A’s are playing as a team the Tigers can’t beat them outside of a postseason setting.
