And an old school guy like Dusty had his back. In a time that was still very much “man up and get out there” Dusty let him take his time and let him know when he’s ready. I love Votto and Dusty.
As a high schooler at the time dealing with awful mental health issues, this is what made me a fan of votto forever, before I really got into the reds the following season
