We’re still a week away from this game and it’s been posted/talked about here dozens of times

  2. Hasn’t happened since 1888 when a disgruntled second baseman named Herbert « The Gentleman » McKinney got up from the Poughkeepsie Lug Nuts dugout, removed his jersey, and trotted into the dugout of the adversarial Allentown Blueskies. He went on to go 3 for 3 in the remaining five innings and made several putouts against his former team.

For his efforts, McKinney was given a Blueskies uniform and continued to travel with the team until 1891 when he retired from baseball. This game had such a profound effect on his life that he consequently changed his nickname, the shape of his impressive mustache, and even his wife!

I can’t wait for this game to be played. Not because I’m expecting to see some weird stuff involving Danny Jansen. I’ll just be happy you clowns will stop posting about it.

How come people can post this exact title like 30 times but god forbid I want to make a post about the White Sox not being able to win the central

This is really cool, but did you know that Danny Jansen could make history by playing for the Red Sox and Blue Jays in the same game?
