Robert Suarez est accusé d’une violation de l’horloge de lancer avec les bases chargées en fin de neuvième manche. Ou est-ce le cas ? Les arbitres changent alors d’avis et le compte est à nouveau de 0-0

Tbh that should have been a violation on the batter

So this is why gameday took forever to throw another pitch

Missed the part where Shildt went to the mound, and should have been charged a visit, which would have been the 2nd of the inning.

Shoutout to the Pirates announcer who after this said “it doesn’t matter, we’re gonna win this game anyway” and then the Pirates lost

I was watching that game live. It looked like the umpires got together and realized that they screwed up and lost track of the pitch clock, and didn’t know whether the hitter was in violation or not, so they just decided to start over. This is something that couldn’t use instant replay to review.
