It’s always crazy to me when they miss so much in the same area all game. You’d think there would be some sort of process around informing them they’re missing in the same spots at some point during the game.

JT Realmuto couldn’t frame a family photo. He gives up on pitches quicker than the umpire gives up on them. There is not one umpire in baseball who calls these pitches strikes with the way they are presented.
I could make a 10 minute compilation of this garbage dating back to the start of last year.

Obviously wasn’t great, but I don’t feel bad. We’ve been screwed by umps too. And that Haniger AB wouldn’t have won the game for the Phillies. It’s still a very real possibility that we go on to win the game regardless.

Missing that first call in that spot is unacceptable. Also the « bad » call that is shown for the Mariners is actually a correct call? And the next pitch was a ball that was called a strike. We have the technology to get this nonsense out of the game, just do it already.
