Praising La Russa is bizzare but like whatever. But slamming Chris Getz for…not trading for Salvador Perez is…what? When was Salvy ever available? Why do people thinking trading for a player is the same as buying something off Amazon? Might as well suggest they trade for Bobby Witt and Ohtani and blame him for failing to do so.

I’ve stopped caring since they hired TLR. I’m so tired of constantly being angry at everything they do.

“Unfortunately, the disproportionate amount of blame La Russa was given by the local media (particuarly loudmouths on 670 the Score), as well as national media, and meathead fans who chanted “fire Tony” at the ballpark, lead a narrative to be constructed that the entire reason the White Sox failed to meet expectations was because Jerry Reinsdorf overruled Rick Hahn and hired Tony La Russa.
This unfortunately allowed front office incompetents Rick Hahn and Kenny Williams to shift blame onto La Russa, and then hire their own manager, something they should NEVER have been allowed to do.“
So Reinsdorf overrules Hahn and hires La Russa, who has to quit early because of his heart and leaves the team without a manager for the rest of the season, and somehow that means Hahn shouldn’t get to hire his own manager after that debacle?
I really don’t understand the logic there.
