The Mets have over 17 million in payroll for catchers no longer on the roster, which would be the 4th highest paid backstop in MLB

    (Narváez, McCann, Nido)

“I got the Mets to pay for JV. I’m a genius”

“I have to pay Abreu and Montero because I went a whole offseason without a GM”

  3. > 5th place at 32 million

    26-14 since June 14th.

    Worth it

the Marlins are throwing away $60million, while their entire major league roster is getting paid less than Gleyber Torres. wack

White Sox can’t do anything right. They can’t even be cheap the right way.

Can’t wait until Jerry is gone

Guessing the bulk of the Dbacks money is the Mad Bum and Castro

Yup. This right here is the main reason why the Marlins are where they are. I’m pretty sure 40% of the total budget of the team is being paid to people who aren’t even in the MLB anymore. Jeter was a terrorist and now our cash poor owner can’t exactly print infinite money like how the Mets can

I am actually amazed the Yankees are that low. There are some big contracts they need dump or release.

We could have made an whole other trade with that $16 million.

    Ow.

That could be a serious difference maker, too.

I can get up to around 30, can anyone explain the rest?
