Fortunately for Pedro, we all know that it is on absolutely no one but the players.

Isn’t the eye of the storm supposed to be calm?

Get ready to learn meteorology, buddy

Look, there’s a reason no one calls him the Tom Skilling of managers

  7. RaymondSpaget

Is his saying they’re in the middle of a 34-game losing streak? I’m pretty sure the eye of most storms is somewhere near the middle.

get ready to get your real estate license, buddy

  9. slicebishybosh

Is that to suggest they’re also only halfway through this losing streak?

The eye of the storm would be a single win, followed by another 17-game losing streak (which would be hilarious).

It’s such an indictment of this franchise that Grifol is still employed. Generational incompetence.

Just once I want some goddammit honesty in sports.

Like White Sox fans deserve for Getz to go out there and say « Reinsdorf is one of the worst owners in not just the MLB, but all of American sports. I’m the worst GM in the MLB. He’s the worst manager in the MLB. This organization has descended into complete trash due to an owner who doesnt care about winning and only cares about not spending hiring morons like us. None of our hitters can hit. None of our pitchers can pitch besides the guy we traded and the guy we tried to trade but refused to pitch in the playoffs, scaring off contenders. And special thanks to Andrew Benintendi for OPSing .565 for $17 million dollars. We’re not going to fix this and the team will suck for at least another 5 years and that’s if the next GM can actually fix the team after I’m fired. Sorry Sox fans. »

Instead it’s just gonna be platitudes on how the worst team in MLB history is going to be hungry to improve, grow, and achieve bullshit.

So they’re going to lose 34 in a row?
