Curious to see where he’s going to play. I’m guessing they go Holliday at 2nd, Gunnar at SS and Westburg at 3rd. Perhaps with Gunnar’s defensive miscues Gunnar slides to 3B next year and Holliday takes over at SS for 2025.
Can’t overstate how huge it would be for the Orioles to have Holliday as their everyday 2B. Hopefully this stint works out better for him than the first one.
Mounty – Holliday – Gunnar – Westburg would be a great infield if Holliday can put it together offensively.

Vlad smashes one to deep left field, Holliday in full sprint from second base passes Cowser in LF and scales Lord Walltimore to rob Vlad of a home run. On the transfer to throw the ball back in he bobbles it, the runner on 3rd is tagging but Holliday punts the ball for a 100mph rope to home and the runner is out by 5 feet.
The Orioles have so many good players now, fuck.
