Lmao Rogers is another Irvin, hate this move

  2. yianni1229

That seems like a big overpay for a guy who’s statcast page looks terrible.

This is a crazy sellers market

  3. dmlfan928

I do not love giving up both of these guys for Rogers. Would have liked to use Stowers for another trade elsewhere.

I for one am shocked that a SP with control goes for a decent price at the trade deadline. This never happens

  5. GL94553

Orioles must think they see a way to help Rogers

  6. williamani

Seems like a bad move. Hope I’m wrong

  7. Damn so are the O’s done looking for SP?

  8. SeoulPower88

The prospects were blocked and the O’s are paying for control and potential. It’s the going rate, and I think it works out for both.

Could of done with this deal but for tanner scott another trade deadline disasterclass by Mike Elias

As a Marlins fans, this is probably the first time I’ve actually enjoyed the selling of our players. Feels like we’re getting better than expected returns.

Love Trevor Rogers, though. Hopefully, he can recapture that 2021 season for the O’s.

JFC. At this rate Flaherty is gonna go for JDP, River Ryan, Wrobelski, Stone, Glasnow, and Pages

I genuinely hate this. There’s no way these two couldn’t have fetched a different starter

WE GOT FLEECED WTF WTF FIRE ELIAS

  14. realnostalgia

Pretty clear Elias doesn’t want to pay up for the top end of this market. So bargain bin shopping it is.

Damn, Houston’s overpay really screwed the pooch for everyone else LMAO.

oh damn I liked Norby and Stowers. I’m cool with Stowers going because there’s nowhere for him but I hate we sent Norby off so soon after coming up. He’s going to be awesome.

I’ve seen Orioles fans on Twitter suggest similar trade packages would be enough for Skubal or Crochet

  18. Drsustown

This seems fine tbh. Norby and Stowers didn’t seem like incredible prospects, so it’s not a crazy overpay or anything

  19. GunnarsBatThrows

An absolute joke. Clown move by Elias.

This alllllmost feels like when the O’s traded for Scott Erickson in the 90s.

He was pretty underwhelming with the twins, but had the stuff, and then really thrived in Baltimore.

Idk, maybe that’s copium and blind faith in Elias on my part 🤷🏻‍♂️

  21. caps_and_Os_hon

I genuinely hate this because it probably means he’s the only starter they go after.

  22. AgnarCrackenhammer

Damn, felt like O’s fans were talking about these guys being important piece of a Skubal trade like this morning

  23. Grade-AMasterpiece

I’mma need Neander to sell Littell.

  24. Wilmerrr

This is kind of insane to me. Rogers seems so mediocre, like a #5 starter
