GREAT deal for Miami. Two guys that can play right away. Makes sense for Baltimore if they can get Rogers back on track since Norby and Stowers are both blocked at the major league level and are ready to contribute in the big leagues. I think people are forgetting that Rogers was VERY good in 2021 before some injuries and that he’s under control for a few more seasons.

I like this for the Orioles though. I’ve always been a huge Trevor Rogers believer, I really think he can be the same pitcher he was in ‘21. He has really good stuff and it’s always seemed like he pitches better than his overall stats indicate

This trade is fine, Norby is not even a top 100 MLB prospect and he’s completely expendable for the Orioles. Trevor Rogers has 2 1/2 years of control left.
