If it lands them a guy like Bassalo or Mayo I don’t know how you don’t at least listen. The Tigers offense is offensive.

Something like Mayo, McDermott, Povich, Kjerstad, and a lower level lottery type, maybe? Assuming that the Tigers wind up trading him, you have to imagine it’d be an overpay-level deal.
Maybe Basallo instead of Mayo, but is he going to stick at C? He loses a ton of value if he can’t (although maybe the O’s move him because of that).
EDIT: Then the Dodgers have something like Rushing, Ryan/Hurt, Paula, Pages, maybe? That might still be light. Obviously not a fan of either team, so I’m not sure if any of these guys are « untouchable », just trying to match value.

I heard some rumors on twitter that Holliday was on the table for the right guy. Idk if thats true at all and whoever wants to could correct me, but its super interesting to me if it is true. Kinda shows that theyd be willing to go very in this year if the right guys (like Skubal) are available.
