Good. Everyone except MLB and Nike wants individual team jerseys in the ASG. This would be a very easy win for Manfred.
They won’t and it’s a shame.
Good. Now go back to the old jersey templates and we’ll forget about this long uniform nightmare!
It would be interesting if players could have their nickname on their jerseys for the allstar game too. Such a shame they arent doing it for players weekend.
Manfred: « A lot of people seem to want to go back to players wearing their own team’s jerseys during the ASG. What do we think? »

It used to be team jerseys in the actual game and AL/NL jerseys for the Home Run Derby (Judge won the 2017 Home Run Derby in an AL jersey).
In 2018 and 2019, team jerseys were worn during the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby (but only the participants). Everyone else there for the Derby wore the AL/NL jerseys.
They committed to AL/NL jerseys in the game itself in 2021. This seems like something they can switch back.
What conversations are there to have? The fans want it changed back and so do the players. Just make the change! Knowing Manfred though he probably needs to figure out how they can maintain the same amount of profit from the change. $$$ over quality of product always.
Manfred’s solution will be to have the AL & NL teams wear the same uniforms all season.
They could still sell those god-awful All-star jerseys, just not make the players wear them during the game. Win win for everyone
