Only snub is Wong but I’m happy we have 3 others

  3. --Alec--

We’re joking with the Semien selection right, jesus christ. Westburg has him beat in every possible category.

  4. DAVID FRY MY GLORIOUS LEFTY SLAYING KING

[*Also, credit where credit’s due, he’s not just hitting well against lefties! Minimum 100 PA, he has the highest wRC+ for players whose primary position is DH on FanGraphs](https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/major-league?stats=bat&lg=al&ind=0&season1=2024&season=2024&pos=dh&sortcol=17&sortdir=default&qual=100&type=8&month=33)

    David Fry: 160 wRC+ in 226 PA

Yordan Alvarez: 157 in 374 PA

    Brent Rooker: 154 in 316

    Kerry Carpenter: 150 in 163

    Ryan O’Hearn: 131 in 269

(Also Royce Lewis is at 180 in 99 PA)

Love Marcus, but if a Rangers infielder made it, it should have been Josh Smith.

  6. 22edudrccs

Duran’s turnaround from 2021 and 2022 is crazy

  7. shibbledoop

Damn when was the last time Cleveland sent 5 to the ASG? Got to be the 90s?

  8. Fishsticksboi21

Semien over Rengifo, Smith, Castro etc is a joke

  9. ScumBrad

David Fry mentioned, today is a good day.

  10. mansontaco

2 all stars and they aren’t pitty picks it’s been so long

  11. FuriousGeorge7

Damn. I’m really bummed that Josh Smith didn’t make it.

  12. eekbarbaderkle

All three of the Sox players that absolutely needed to be there got in. Wong *could have* made it, but I can’t complain about either of the catchers who made it ahead of him.

  13. TheBigNate416

Glad Raffy and Duran ended up getting the respect they deserved

Shame Wong isn’t here though. He’s having a better season than Perez

  14. alistairvimes

Semien with his .673 OPS is a choice I guess

  15. GameBroJeremy

Oh my spaghettios! It’s Riley Green from the top rope!

  16. So does that mean Tucker will be back before the break, we need him!

Longest shin ouchie I can remember.

  17. Slayer_Of_Anubis

Mildly upset that Wong missed, but Devers and Duran made it which is really all that needed to happen

  18. Jcomsa15

Surprised Seager didn’t make the roster but SS is stacked. Especially with it being in Arlington

  19. whentheworldwasatwar

Only 1 rep kind of makes me mad lmao. But Correa deserves it.

  20. zdillon67

So happy for Riley. Fantastic ball player, fantastic teammate

  21. Is Naylor the worst player to be an all star in recent memory? Hes basically the second Guardians DH to make it and he isn’t a lone representative- he was somehow genuinely voted. Wild!
