Les règles du Banana Ball sont arrivées dans la MLB – Un fan attrape une balle fausse et est sanctionné pour interférence après avoir été contesté par TB, le fan n’est jamais expulsé du stade.

  1. He actually did get ejected but it took them another inning to do it for some reason

To clarify: Arozarena was called out on the play (which would’ve been a miraculous catch if it had happened), TB challenged and the call on the field stood after 30 seconds or so of review. Security was by the fan laughing with him, fan was apparently removed about an inning later finally.

The guys on the radio know him. They know his name but identified him only as Sign Guy (you can see his signs stacked there by the railing) and said he’s a nice guy who gives away all the baseballs he catches to kids and calls in to the postgame show all the time.

Fan Interference should be done away with. If a fan can touch the ball, then the fan should be allowed and the ball is dead (a home run of a fly ball in fair territory). If teams don’t want to deal with it, then they need to put up barriers or they can encourage it as part of home field advantage. Take it out of the umpire’s hands.
