a lucky home run can land you a managing gig

Luvullo was such a great manager for the bison back in the day

  3. eekbarbaderkle

More confirmation that Craig Counsell was indeed the best player of the Steroid Era.

  4. AnEmptyKarst

Man Donnie not managing anymore really brought down the manager WAR totals

Do any managers besides Roberts and Boone have a famous postseason moment?

  6. InvisibleTeeth

In the end, everyone remembers Counsell and Roberts for their playoff contributions.

Baldelli could have had well above 20 if he could have ever stayed healthy. Thems the breaks I guess.

I’d have bet big money Cora had more than 7 WAR. Wasn’t he a pretty good defender?

  8. JanitorOfSanDiego

I disagree that guys with no playing experience have 0.0 war. They should just be listed at the bottom.

  9. Expensive-Zombie-296

AJ Hinch had 1075 PA over 7 seasons and somehow managed exactly zero WAR.

Damn Kevin Cash was a bad player, glad his manager skills are quite a bit better

Alex Cora must have accumulated all that WAR early on because his last few seasons with the Mets were painful to watch
